‘The Best Medicine: 100 Powerful Stories of Staff-Led Change’ from the NHS

We are delighted to announce the publication of: ‘The Best Medicine: 100 Powerful Stories of Staff-Led Change’ from the NHS.

This publication - available as a flip book and a PDF - shows the enormous impact that staff themselves can have on the quality and safety of patient care in their own areas through simple, compelling, new ways of working. The stories have been selected from thousands in more than 80 organisations adopting Listening into Action (LiA)® as a vehicle to ‘shake things up’ and put staff at the centre of change. LiA has a campaign-like feel and creates a new language around change, with leaders aligned behind the need for a fundamental shift and joining forces to unblock the way for staff. Vitally, it locks the engagement effort in with patient care priorities and leads to measurable, demonstrable change. This is not ‘soft stuff’, it is what delivers the ‘hard stuff’.

The changes made by these amazing teams have benefitted many patients and are a great source of pride. We hope you will be inspired by their stories, and contact those involved to find out more if you are facing similar challenges.

Please CLICK HERE to view or download the publication and contact Hannah Forbes at hforbes@optimiselimited.co.uk or on 07734 812644 if you would like any further information.
