This short press release has been put together because a lot of people are referencing Listening into Action (LiA) and this is the basic, correct information they need to do so. We will happily provide any further information at any time.
The most recent reference to LiA was in the 'Driving Improvement' paper published this week by the CQC. There are also many references made by NHS Improvement, NHS Employers, NHS England, the King's Fund, the CQC in various Trust reports, the HSJ and Nursing Times, The Times newspaper, and various universities around the country.
While people are rightly keen to want to talk to Trust teams about their own LiA journey, they should come to us if they want to know more about LiA or are interested in adopting it for themselves as this is a very intensive process done strictly under licence. Also, we have just completed our latest annual ‘overhaul’ of the approach based on the rich learning from numerous Trusts over the past year – so it is continuously changing for the better.
Please pass on this press release to anyone who would like to know more, and use it to inform your own, local communications.
